Looking for an area that you’ll fall in love with? Allow me to show you around Georgina, an Ontario gem. Georgina is full of arts and culture, landbound thrills, lake life, and historic sights. Whether you’re visiting for the day or booking a staycation, let me tell you what you can look forward to in this area!
Where to Visit
With over 117km of multi-use trails, beaches, museums, community centres, paddling routes, there is a lot to see here! Here are some spots I think that may catch your eye:
Jackson’s Point
Located right on Lake Simcoe, Jackson’s Point is small town that is so cute. I personally prefer it in the summer months to enjoy the sunset, grab some ice cream, have a beach day or take my kids to the playground.
Sutton
Sutton is one of the cutest little towns in Ontario. I recommend stopping here for coffee, ice cream, or visiting one of the many free little libraries!
Willow Beach
Willow Beach screams LAKE LIFE! It’s a stretch of Georgina that is lake front with many little beaches, a conservation area and a pier. Such an adorable area, great for beach days and picnics! I also find a lot of beach glass at the beaches along Lake Simcoe, just a tip for anyone else who likes to hunt for it.
Keswick
This is where you’ll find most of the shopping centers in Georgina, but also amazing restaurants, activities, parks and beaches. If you choose to visit in the winter months when the lake is frozen, you will see many ice fishing huts on the ice and it looks so beautiful.

Fun for the whole family, plus a learning experience!

Keswick’s most recent addition is the MURC! A multi-use recreational center that has swimming pools, gyms, a walking track, library, study areas, programs and more.
