Adventure Activities

As someone with an adventurous soul, I am frequently itching to get outside and enjoy the world. I often do that in the form of hiking, but to change it up, I like to get outside by doing other activities. These can all be enjoyed alone, with a date or with a group of friends.

Keep reading if you want to have a good time!

1. Campfire

Campfires are always a blast. I especially like mine to have some good company, and some delicious snacks.

Best campfire snacks?

  • S’mores
  • Stroopwafel
  • Fruit
  • Charcuterie
  • Ice cream

2. Hammocking

Hammocks are a great way to slow time down, enjoy the views and to get a different perspective.

Hammocking can be done alone or with friends, I like to stack hammocks!

Don’t forget to bring a good book, video game, food and coffee to spice up your hammock game.

3. Watch the Sunset

Sunsets are always so unique with colours and I could watch them every night. Sunsets remind me to look forward to a new day and new opportunities to come.

My favourite way of catching the sunset is sitting in the back of our Jeep with some blankets!

4. Stargazing

Stargazing is an incredible experience every time. My fiancé and I (before we got our Jeep) would put a blow up mattress in our pick up truck and cozy up in some blankets and stare at the night sky for hours. It was always so fun!

5. Long drive

Sometimes you may want to get out but not even hike. Why not do a rainy day drive? Stay warm and comfortable while sight seeing and listening to your favourite tunes! I do so many scenic road trips in the winter when I don’t want to be cold!

You can also add in some fun stops to local shops or cafes you have never tried before.

I love trying new things, having fun and being with my friends. I hope this blog post inspires you to do the same!

Until next time, keep on trekkin’ friends,

Katie
